Floors four through twenty-five (there was no thirteenth) were comprised of guest rooms. These pie-shaped rooms were often joked about for their size and shape. They tended to be more costly than the Garden View rooms on the ground floor (in the former Landmark Apartment buildings) which contributed to their unpopularity. These rooms were modified in 1983, making them slightly larger, which reduced the number of rooms within the tower. In 1971, the twenty-ninth floor was converted into mini-suites adding larger rooms to the tower with a much better view.
